I’m sitting in Washington after having moved from El Cajon 20 years ago and I’m thinking about this sandwich, it’s that good. I make a point of heading out to Marechiaro’s for this sandwich every time I come back down to visit family. I can still taste that crusty bread with the special sauce… If it were legal to marry sandwiches I’d take one down to the courthouse today.
